But Where Did June Go?

Tuesday, July 02, 2013

It's July?

What? No, seriously? How? Where is my Summer Going?

Okay. I'll stop with the questions. It's time for some answers to questions. It's time for June Superlatives.

So, if you missed a post this month (God forbid), don't start scrolling through my endless pages of rambling (it's the equivalent of scrolling through a Blackberry phone, a.k.a awful!). It's time for a roundup of the best things that happened this month!

1. Most Peanut Buttery (This one totally had to go on top)

My 65 Calorie Peanut Butter Cookies. Because everyone needs healthy cookies in their life.

2. Most Techy

Me in my attempts to give blog help. Whether it was a success or not is still unknown, but it was fun pretending to understand how to make your blog pretty.

be an artist

So maybe I'm just an artist instead of a wannabe technologically advanced person? I can dig it.

3. Biggest Failure

My attempt at making almond butter. Jessie, Monique and the Primalist clearly do this way better than I do.

4. Favorite Mini Vacation/Scenery

Austin, Texas hands down. Pardon my awkward song references in that post, but hopefully the pretty pictures made up for that.

5. Most Mom Approved Recipe (Yes, this is a thing)

It's a tie between my Mom's recipe for Marvelous Cheese Muffins and my recipe for Low Fat and Low Calorie Chocolate Chip Cookies. She's a cookie monster!

6. Most Over-excited

Me. New running shoes. 'Nough said.

7. Most Personable

My Cat and his amazing pose(s) for my ABC post! I do think my brother's surprised face is a close second though.

8. Biggest Laugh

Me laughing at Jessie's Dad and her dog on the treadmill in her most recent post. SO FUNNY!

Life is Beautiful

9. Most Loved

    2. That Seth Godin quote is awesome. I need to hang it up in my kitchen every time I have a recipe fail so that I can remind myself I am an artist, haha. Maybe that will take away the bad mood after my fail.
    3. You seem like the biggest sweetheart!
    4. We are (hopefully) going to Napa for July 4th since all of our friends and family are back east.

  11. This is my first visit here, and yes you do know how to make a pretty blog! Bright, fresh, and fun! Almond butter– I've made it lots of times and I posted about it on my blog, but I'm not going to claim to be an expert. I prefer making it in my Vitamix to making it in my food processor, but neither way is ideal.
