I've Got Love in My Ov-Microwave? A Tasty Bite Review!

Tuesday, October 08, 2013

I like getting packages. Packages are exciting, rare, mysterious.

I mean seriously, what could be better than a package?

Try a package full of food. Yummy, microwavable, ready in 90 seconds, healthy food to be exact.

How does a girl get so lucky?

The lovely folks at Tasty Bite contacted me asking if I wanted to try out some of their food and write up a little review. I'd heard a lot about Tasty Bite from my blog friends, so clearly I was over the moon.

A few weeks later, a big package arrived, and I started my 'analysis' of Tasty Bite's food. (This sounds quite scientific.)

First off, it should be noted that Tasty Bite food products require no cooking. Seriously. You just pop the food in the microwave and you're done. (I'm pretty sure some of you are sold already.)

You don't have to refrigerate the packages either. You can store them all in your cupboard and save them for a day when you don't feel like cooking. (Which, let's be honest, is probably more often than not.)

Each package contains 2 servings (if you have them as a side, you can get way more), and you can actually pronounce the ingredients on the ingredients list.

No weird acids or preservatives in these bad boys. 10 points for Tasty Bite!

Right now, Tasty Bite's products vary from Indian entrées to Asian Noodles to rices that come freshly made from India.

Let's just say that Tasty Bite is the real deal when it comes to international food.

So, a big thank you goes out to the kind people at Tasty Bite for letting me try their products!

The final prognosis: My family loves Tasty Bite! Quick, easy, healthy? These packages are ideal for busy, busy families like mine!

If you're now thinking that a healthy meal in less than 2 minutes is your cup of tea, you're in luck!

Tasty Bite is expanding! (Cue the thunderous applause and wolf whistles.)

My local grocery stores started selling Tasty Bite packages for the first time last week! So, you should probably pop over to Tasty Bite's store locator to find a shop where you can pick yourself a package of Tasty Bite. For only $2, you haven't got much to lose!

After you've bought your Tasty Bite and heated it up, go outside and enjoy the lovely fall weather with a tasty meal. Happy Tuesday lovelies!

  12. I'm pretty impressed with these ingredients! I'm not a big purchaser of packaged foods though I was in my undergraduate years when I didn't have a kitchen and was tied to a microwave or the dining hall food. I love asian style noodles though! My favorite by far!
