Christmas Link Love and Finding the Perfect Tree.

Tuesday, December 10, 2013

I'm in love with Christmas. That sounds so cliche, but I really am. I'm in love with every single little aspect of it. It's nearly impossible to choose my favorite part of Christmas, but after an embarrassing amount of internet searching, I've chosen a few of my favorite parts to share with you with some link love.

Merry & Bright

If I had to pick what's been my favorite part of Christmas at the current moment, however, it would be getting a tree.

It was really cold on Saturday (actually in the 30's!), so we wrapped up in our coats and scarves and went to Home Depot to find the perfect tree. (Oh the struggles of living no where near a Christmas Tree farm) I was pretty pumped to finally get to wear a beanie!

Even though options were somewhat limited, I fell in love twice. With two different trees.

I mean seriously, is it actually possible to resist these ittty bitty baby trees? I don't think so.

After a little finagling, we manged to get the trees home and standing without getting too cold. Then, as my Dad and I cooked dinner, my mom lit the tree. (A tradition at my house!). Here's a little sneak peak:

My house is finally looking and smelling like Christmas! Is yours?
