Waking Up Early And Exercising Is Fun. Seriously.

 Nobody ever sees you looking like a hot mess (minus the hot and 3x the mess) because it's usually fairly dark early in the morning. (Unless you live somewhere where it gets light super early. In that case, I doubt anyone you know will be awake to see you anyways!)
 You get to eat a BIG breakfast after your workout. (Well you could do this any day if you want to get technical about it, but breakfast tastes better after exercising. No joke.)

 After you get all sweaty, you get to take a refreshing, cool shower. This is one of those things that should be on a '100 Things That Make Me Happy' lists. 
 You're done working out before 8 AM. You have the WHOLE day ahead of you. Holla. 
 While all your friends are headed to the gym in the afternoon, you get to kick back and relax.
 You get to see the sunrise every single morning. And you can take a quick picture and post it on your instagram. Everyone loves a pretty sunrise picture, so helloooo likes. #Sunrisestagram

 You'll beat the early morning gym rush or  have the running trails all to yourself.
 Beat the heat. Less heat=more fun.
 You have nothing else to do at 6 AM (Yes, I'm sure some of you do have something to do, but most of us are free.), so you'll be less likely to skip your workout.
 In the morning you usually feel tired. You could have already ran a mile before you even are fully awake.
 Working out gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. So basically, you start your day happy!

  1. I love exercising in the morning! I haven't done it much lately since it's been a harsh winter and exercising outside just isn't an option, but now that it's warming up, I'm excited for some early morning runs :)

    1. I live in Texas, so we have absolutely no winter, so I can totally understand how these reasons might not apply to everyone! I'll be happy to send you some warm weather :) xx

  2. Can I just say how much I LOVE your posts?!?!! I prefer working out in the morning sooo much more than at night. I love having the rest of the day ahead of me! And I agree - breakfast tastes SO much better after a workout. I usually eat oatmeal, but pancakes are my fave!

  4. I'm working on getting up early to run - I think I am going to print this out and stick it on my alarm! My only issue is that I have to catch the bus by 7, so it would be more like 5 - 5:30, which means it is still dark where I live. (So, you know, safety ;) ) I definitely have to run before school once we hit May, though!

    1. Ooh that's early. I don't have to be at school until around 8 seeing as we start at 8:30, so I can wake up at 6 and have plenty of time! Maybe in the summer you can go out when it gets light! As long as you stay safe and get to school on time! x

    I try so hard to get out of bed early and go to the gym but I just can't. do. it. I am NOT a morning person.
